In our latest episode of the Active Outdoors podcast, Karen Cox is in conversation with John Davidson about her challenge to ride to the top of the 841m Ben Rinnes in Moray, despite suffering from a number of disabilities that make balance and muscle control difficult for her.

The Outfit Moray admin and fundraiser also talks about this year’s Cairngorm to Coast event, which has been put back to August due to the pandemic, while John is out on his mountain bike in the Monadhliath mountains as well as hitting the running trails in the Cairngorms.

Recorded largely out in the field, the Active Outdoors podcast aims to bring you more inspiring routes, stories and adventures as we start to venture further afield as the coronavirus restrictions begin to ease across the Highlands and the rest of Scotland.

We hope the podcast will become a valuable addition to our weekly Active Outdoors newspaper features and online section of the Inverness Courier website.
