A two-day adventure starting at Grantown-on-Spey as Active Outdoors editor John Davidson joined friends new and old for a bikepacking trip on the Moray Way, which links together the Speyside Way, Moray Coast Trail and Dava Way.

Recorded en route, the team of five riders talk about the reasons behind the trip, the fall and rise of Aviemore’s famous Mountain Cafe – now the Bothy Bakery in Grantown – and how to plan the best adventures from your door.

To see more about this trip, see our features on the first day from Grantown to Lossiemouth and the return via Findhorn and the Dava Way.

The Active Outdoors podcast aims to bring you more inspiring routes, stories and adventures from across the north of Scotland and we hope it will become a valuable addition to our weekly Active Outdoors newspaper features and online section of the Inverness Courier website.
