What a fantastic weekend I’ve had getting out and about on the bike. On Saturday I did a short but satisfying off-road route between Contin and Little Garve, where I discovered some excellent sections of route and a superb Caulfield bridge on the old military road. (You’ll be able to read about this adventure in the Inverness Courier in a couple of weeks!) Then on Sunday I joined the CTC Highland group on a ride from North Kessock over to Knockfarrel and back.

There’s was plenty of snow about but I managed to clock up nearly 60 miles over the two days at a nice, gentle pace. The CTC crew were a lovely bunch, so thanks very much for being so welcoming! I hope to get out for a ride with them again soon. And with views like these, I can’t wait to do it all again!

  1. Great to have your company John. I’m afraid we don’t always get fed so well! Mick
