Meg and I took our daughter on a lovely bike ride on Sunday through quiet country lanes in Moray then back along the coast on the National Cycle Network Route 1.

We’ve come to the conclusion that when towing the child trailer we should only do rides that are 15-20 miles long, which means we can go at an easy pace and stop often enough to stop Clara getting annoyed/bored! That plan worked perfectly yesterday… and here are a few pictures to prove it!

Full details of the route and plenty more pictures will be used in our next Active Outdoors magazine in September, so look out for your free copy in The Inverness Courier, Ross-shire Journal, Northern Scot, John O’Groat Journal, Strathspey & Badenoch Herald and Northern Times.
