South Loch Ness cycle

Cycling over causeway at Loch Duntelchaig, South Loch NessI’ve been out on the bike around South Loch Ness with the CTC Highland group today, taking in the historic Clava Cairns and a wonderful lunch at Daviot Dairy.

Our route took us from Inverness, up the hill to Essich and past Loch Ashie, around the edge of Loch Duntelchaig before crossing it by the fantastic road to Loch Ruthven (pictured).

Inverness Half Marathon 2011

Today was race day in Inverness – and it was a cold and windy one to run 13.1 miles around the city through slushy snow!
